BISHOP, James Thomas "Tommy" Jr., 44, of Louisa County, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Louisa Health and Rehab. Tommy was the son of Jim and Julia Bishop. He loved all sports and this joy helped him through many good days and difficult times. His favorites were the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Braves. Special appreciation to Louisa Health Care Center and Martha Jefferson Hospital. During the very difficult times prior to his death, Tommy appreciated the support of Central United Methodist Church. Tommy always welcomed the visits of Pastor Tom Sweat. Tommy would want to show his appreciation for his long time friends and supporters, Sharon and Allen Hultman, as well as Kathy Bishop who helped brighten his days during the final stages of his life. Tommy will be missed,we met him @ LHC where our father was and Tommy was his room mate,we stayed in touch on and off,I am thankful that I got to have a long conversation with him befor his passing,we were talking about his treatments and Tommy said after I prayed with him that either way it turns out it is a win-win situation,he was ready to meet his Lord!
