Not sure what to say?

It has been many years since my sister and I have left New Philadelphia. It warms my heart to know that my father is still remembered so highly. Your kindness in doing so is well received and greatly appreciated.

A friend just let me know this was in the paper. I want to thank everyone who remembers my father. you have no idea how much this means to me

So many years ago he left us..We will always remember Jim and the great service he provided to his community and fellow officers at New Phila and Dover too..Continue to rest comfortably, Officer Black...

I remember Jim very well. I am the son of Paul Polen who worked with Jim for a number of years. I know Dad thought very highly of him and I liked him too. I was only 11 years old when I met Jim and he was one of the officers that always treated me like an equal. My condolences to the family of Jim Black and gain peace in knowing he was a very kind, super person and superior officer.
