We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Dr. Black. His ability to understand chidren and help both, the parents and the child, will never be forgotten by those who were lucky enough to be counseled by him. He will be missed.

Dr. Black just saw my daughter for the first time last month and in a brief talk with her managed to see things others had not, and to explain them so clearly that his words have informed all of her subsequent treatment. All the while he told us hilarious stories we still repeat. We were so shocked to hear of his passing, and mourn the loss of his kindness and insight. We hope his family finds some ease in the knowledge of how much he helped so many young people and their families.

Tim, we are sorry to hear of the passing of your father. We know the feeling since both our parents passed away. Comfort now comes by getting close to those who remain and, as Christians, with the knowledge of what our Lord Jesus the Christ accomplished on the cross.

Dr. Black's gifts to the children and those who serve and raise them were immeasurable. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure and priviledge of working with him.
Hopefully family and friends will be comforted in this difficult time by their fond memories of this fine man.

I am shocked and saddened. Jim was an amazing doctor, professional, diagnostician, and person. He always made time to discuss a case, or to help a colleague. I can't even begin to say how much he will be missed. He was articulate, kind, and just a fine fine person. So sorry and my heartfelt sympathy to Jim's familly.
