Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you, Carol and your family. Would love to re-connect.

Just heard of Dr. Blands passing. Such a wonderful surgeon. He literally saved my life while practicing at Medical City almost 50 years ago. Proof of what a gifted surgeon he was. Carol you and family are in our prayers. Floyd and Vicki Pollard

Message for Carol: I have just learned about the loss of your husband. I am truly sorry. It is difficult to describe the pain unless you have lived it. I am widowed now for 16 years and there are still days when the grief washes over me unexpectedly. Please reach out to me so we can re-connect our life-long friendship. With love and prayers, Terry Owens Hill Cabot, Arkansas

I have very fond memories of Dr. Bland from working at Texas Neurological Institute at Medical City in the 80's. He also went to medical school with my late husband, L.M. Kimbell, MD. He was a very highly thought of person and doctor and I feel honored to have known him. Prayers for his family during this time.

He touched the lives of many thousands of appreciative patients and through his work in establishing the foundation and professional character of a large metropolitan hospital he impacted tens of thousands more. He did all of this is in...

On an early morning at St Paul , by a scrub area, I quizzed Dr Bland about President Kennedy time at Parkland. He was kind enough to explain. ,, I am forever grateful having that conversation. DNG. RN
