To the family and friends of 2nd Lt. James P. Blecksmith:
It has truly been my honor to sign James' guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that James will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

Thank you will always remember you

I pulled this Marine out of the vehicle he was in. I will never forget the look on his face when he laid on top of me after I could not bear his weight and I fell backwards. My heart goes out to the family of this outstanding man and Marine. Semper Fi.

I'm the corpsman who was by his side on that final day. I would be honored to talk to the family. Been many years
