Not sure what to say?

We have lovely memories Country Club of Sapphire Valley with Dottie and Jim. I am sure he is in heaven surrounded by angels. He was truly a wonderful man. Jeanne and Gene Polarolo

Dottie and Jim, Lots of fond memories at CCSV with both of you! May Jim rest in peace and Dottie be comforted by the many friends you have. Love. Jeanne and Gene Polarolo

Dear Dottie - You know I just adored Dan. He was always so kind to me as a newly hired member of Athens Regional's administrative team 22 years ago, in various civic work around the community and as a fellow Rotarian. He was always interested in others and quick with a story to make you smile. I will miss him dearly. I loved the way he adored you so ... May our words provide you some comfort today and always.
Love,
Elaine Cook

I’m terribly sorry to learn of Dan’s passing. For many years he was an integral part of our family in Winder with Barrow and at Winder FUMC. My father leaned on Dan mightily, tapping his wisdom and his brains. Their offices connecting was a conduit for ideas, and solutions. Barrow was better because of him. Of course, the week of the Tech-Georgia game was always one of anticipation and much conversation. And I will take a slight issue with one item of his obituary - he indeed had a convert,...

Dan Blitch was one of the most genuine and sincere people I have ever known. A devoted family man, a great business and civic leader who lived by the Rotary Four-Way Test. Dan always had a kind word and a cheerful greeting for all who crossed his path, friend or stranger alike. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. Dottie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Dottie and family, I am so sorry sorry for your loss. Dan will be missed-such a lovely man. I was proud and happy to call him my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Helen

We offer our deepest sympathy to you and family. Dan will always be remembered for the fun time we had during Rhett´s shows. He was a gentle beautiful person. May God bless you.

Dottie, I am so sorry to learn of Dan's passing. Both of you have always been two of my favorite people. How wonderful you had 60 years together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Much love, Willette W. Ansley

Every image here is a gift. Such care and energy and devotion and good humor shines in these words...and steadfastness too... "where Dan as a Yellow Jacket took on the role of missionary, with not one convert." :). Legacy is what a life puts in motion. Legacy is alive and pouring freely all over the place with the life of Dan Blitch.
