BLYTHE James Joseph Blythe, 87, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born July 20, 1926 to John and Louise Blythe, Father and Mother, McKeesport, PA. James served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he used the G.I. Bill to complete his education at the University of Pittsburg earning a Degree in Accounting. He was along time Manager for Victor Business Machines traveling the Southeast. A member of Lakewood United Methodist Church for over 30 years being a part of the Ed Crutchfield Class, Chancel Choir and Men's Choir. James is survived by his wife Sylvia, son Chris Blythe, stepdaughters; Monica Clinton and April (Rick) Mitchell, grandchildren Kayla and Noah Mitchell, Sister Patricia (Jerry) Smith, Brothers; J. William Blythe and Robert Mitall. James was predeceased by his Father and Mother John and Louise Blythe. A Memorial service will be held at Lakewood United Methodist Church, Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00AM.
