Not sure what to say?

Jim, Hardly a day goes by that I don't think about you or reminisce about some of our experiences and laughter together over the years. Rest in Peace my brother.

'Jimmy B.',
God has placed a call for you to 'Serve' once again, this time in a better place.
You leave a grateful and loving family and a large group of sincere and loving friends.
Rest in Peace brother, knowing that your work here is done and you have left a lasting impression in the hearts of all those you have touched.
You have answered the roll call of life, and those that knew you will forever be blessed.

Seize the day or die with regret.
Dad I will never forget the lifes lessons you have taught. It has been 5 mos. Since you have passed. Me, Anita, Courtney, and Bucko aka Chris cannot let a day go by without thinking or talking about you.

Dear Charliene and the entire Bollin family,

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, and to his many friends. It was apparent with so many officers, both active and retired attending his wake, that they not only showed respect of Jim as an officer of the Chicago Police Department, but as our friend. There is a certain bond that we as officers only know. Jim was an integral part of that bond. Might I also...

Dad I miss you deeply. It is amazing how many people's lives you have touched. I know I never said it out loud cause I know how much you loved the soft side of me but you where a great Dad and I love you very much. I can only hope I could be half the husband and Dad you were.I still don't believe this to be real and I will never understand it but I Dad you will always be alive strong in my heart.I miss you and I love you and I will make sure everything here will be taken care of.

to The Bollin Family,I First Met And Had The Privilege Of Working With Jim Back In 1968.I Have Lost A True Friend. When Jim Was At The Jewelry Store On Madison Street I Took My Wife there And Jimmy Could Not Have Been More Helpful.Rest In Peace Old Friend.

The Templeton family was so close to the Bollin family. We were family. Joe & Buddy were close friends. The kids all grew up together. We are saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We will remember all of the great times our families had together. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.

Sorry to hear of Jims passing. I worked with Jim on the 001 Dist Tact Team. He was a great guy to work with and an overall good person. Jim would help you in anyway he could.

My sincere condolences to the entire Bollin family and especially to his sister Peggy.
I have not seem Jim for many years but I do remember him very fondly from our days back in the old neighborhood.

May he rest in peace.
