Not sure what to say?

You are with God now and the gifts you shared are still with us... Thank you Coach John Foresman '79

Many people touch our lives, but few could match the way Jim touched the lives of those around him. Jim's smile, his sense of right and wrong and the dedication he brought to any thing he chose to invest his time, was unmatched. Jim was a leading force in the Illinois State Dean's Association for many years. His mentorship to the "rookie" deans' and the friendship to the "old' timers will never be matched. In his role as a disciplinarian, he never let the job over shadow the love he had for...

I was lucky enough to have Jim Bonfield as my dean while a student at DGS, and I always admired his approach to educating and coaching. My heart goes out your family. Please know that he touched many lives and will be missed. God bless.

Dear Mrs. Bonfield and Jimmy,

Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. Mr. Bonfield was important to me as a mentor in high school, and I know he was important to many others. Please know that your family is in my prayers during this time.

To The Bonfield Family;

My sincere condolences to all of you in your time of grief. I graduated with Jim and Annette, and remember both of you (Annette, you even signed my yearbook in '66!). His life's calling certainly helped guide many of our young during what is probably the...

Jim was full of life and always brought a smile to your face. He was my favorite teacher and it was even more of a blessing to later call him a friend. My favorite vacation was on the cruise he helped organize.
Some day we will all cruise together again in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Annette, Jimmy and family

Dear Annette,
It was so good to be able to see you and Jim at the reunion. The courage and strength you both displayed was inspiring. He will always be with you in spirit and in your heart. My thoughts are with you and your family.
