Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear that BIG has passed. He will always be in our hearts, loved and missed by all who's lives he touched. Such a gentle giant !!!

When Jim left, he took a little of all of us with him...but that's OK....He left a little of Jim in me. Always thinking about him....my new screen saver

When” Big Jim” was feeling good….I was Happy!
When he was feeling bad …..I was sad…..My last days with Jim…
He was Happy…and This is how I want to remember this Man,!!!

“Big” has left us now…with him he has taken a piece of all of us…
…an emptiness that we will have to deal with…But that’s OK….he left
a piece of him in each of us that will carry on his Legacy…That is what he wanted.

About 25 years ago, a camper from Muskegon, MI pulled into Hoven looking for a place to park for the evening. We just happened to have some sites out by the city park and pool. The Borgmans thought they were pretty special to have their own pool. This was my introduction to Big Jim and Sandy Borgman. Little did we know at the time that we were getting to know some very special people who became very special friends.
Since that time, Jim made the trip from MI to Hoven almost every year...

So many good times, where do I start. Working the hill climb with Glen and Jim. All of the snowmobile adventures, the parties at the hunting trailer, the annual Aue Gres fishing trips, the annaual trips to Soo St Marie, the many trips to South Dakota & Wyoming, the trips to California, Nashville and Ailaska. I remember Jim yelling out, "where's Charly" when he came hom and found something broke.Donna and I did so many things with Jim & Sandy it's impossibe to list them all. We thank you for...

Jeri and Larry Philbrick Douglas, Wyoming
Jim and Sandy came to the ranch in Wy.over 30 years ago to deer hunt and I was so taken back how a couple our age could be so in love, only to find out they were newlyweds. Next Jim an antenna man, came to the house to get water for their camp and saw me watching a football game and you couldn't even see the ball. He said to Sandy, next year we bring them an antenna. We thought that was good till they...

ODE to:
Jim Borgman

Here’s to Jim,
He’s kept us fed.
Each Year at Deer camp
He brings his spread.

Bacon and Eggs,
Biscuits and Gravy,
Prime Rib Rare,
Pork Chops are Savory.

60 pounds of Tators,
10 gallons of Whiskey.
20 Cases of Beer,
Sounds pretty risky.

We’re here for the Hunt,
It’s a religion in itself.
To find BIG OSCAR,
A Deer that is stealth.

When night time falls
And the Boys come home,
We’re tired and...

Jim has left behind so many wonderful memories for everyone. He will be missed more then words can say.
