Not sure what to say?

I recall the first year of engineering was quite challenging, and I had Professor Bosscher in the fall of 1979, in my initial drawing class, where he talked about creativity as being a learned capability. Definitely a real Dutchman who worked hard and made some good contributions. Best regards to the family.

Mr.Bosscherwas my mechanical drawing teacher @ GR Christian High in 1953. He got me my first job as a draftsman at Hekman Biscuit in my senior year. I have always remembered that

Jim was my Grandfather whom I looked up to. I was proud to know Jim and respect his "action-based" approach to living-in-the-world.

Barb and Steve, may God's love bathe you in gratitude and hope as you mourn your father's death. I was blessed to read his obituary this morning and I thank God for this man, your father, in whom one can see an emblem of the Reformed faith. Faithful people leave a faithful legacy. When we grieve the passing of a confessing and intentional child of God, we grieve in the context of affirmation. May joy come, even in the mourning. Peace to you, Barb and Steve and your entire family.

The loss of a great shepherd is always sad. However: life is not measured as to how long you live, it is what you do with your life while you live. Like so many lives Mr Bosscher impacted, empowered and encouraged. I was one of them, I truly believe I am the man I am today is partially due to the influence Mr. Bosscher invested in my life. My first job while attending Calvin University in the seventies was working at the Recycling plant. He also introduced me to Camp Tall Turf where I...

Dear Aunt Angie, Jack and Joan, David and Mary, Marcia, Bob and Beth, Barb and Steve, I'm praying that the God of ALL comfort will comfort all of you as you miss the love of your life (74 years!) and your amazing dad! I will always remember him for his bark that scared the pants off me many a time. I loved singing with him at family reunions and hearing his deep laugh! I can hear him in my memories now. Much love to you all and many prayers, Jacki Lynn

Professor Jim Bosscher was my father´s close friend, my undergraduate advisor and professor at Calvin College (now University) from 1975 to 1977. He was much beloved by his students and the epitome of how to be a socially responsible engineer. When I became a professor in 1995, I tried my best to follow his example by being serious about the work but good humored about everything else. I am nowhere near his level of skill at puns, but I try. My condolences to the Bosscher family. I still...

Our heartfelt condolences over the passage onto glory of our beloved brother, and uncle Jim Boss her. We take solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life, we fondly remember the several trips he made to Mkar towards the establishment of university of Mkar. The last trip I remember was the fund raising towards the University of Mkar. Our fervent prayer is that the good Lord himself should remember all his good works and may they live on. Nehemiah 5:19

Sorry for your lose. Jim was a wonderful man. He will be missed.
