Not sure what to say?

While I didn't know Jim real well, the brief time I worked at the Honda dealer with him (in another department), he made a lasting impression on me. It's over 34 years later and despite never seeing him or talking to him again between 1990 and his unfortunate passing in 2019, I've never forgotten him or his name. I was a helicopter pilot with Jim in C/227 in 1968 at Camp Evans and early 1969 at Phouc Vinh. We would kid him unmercifully as he was one of the "new guy" pilots. He was a very good sport about it. He proved his worth as a pilot and a "masterful scrounger" for our platoon in getting lumber and other materials from the navy seabees in Danang. I only just found his obit. Sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers and thoughts.

I remember Jim from his days at GW High School in Alexandria. He was one of the first to serve in Vietnam. Always a fun guy, quick with a smile and a laugh.

Condolences to his wife and family.
