Not sure what to say?

I was an Emergency Medicine resident at Wilmington Medical Center from 1982 -1984. It was the first full class in the program. Dr Bouzoukis was such a kind and uplifting director who made the challenging job of being a resident in a new specialty such a joy. He will be missed very much.

I just found out about Dr. B. I went to school with Charlie but worked with Dr. as a paramedic in the 80s. He was a great ER Doc and impacted Delaware EMS in ways that are immeasurable. He and I also served with the AHA Advisory committee. My sympathies are with the entire family.

Dr. Bouzoukis encouraged everyone. His kind and gentle demeanor looked for the best in all of us, and his words and deeds brought compassion and joy to our world. His humanity was a rare and precious gift for which I have always and will always be enormously grateful. Thank you to all who cared for him in his final weeks. Thank you to his family who supported him through his brilliant career.

He will be missed.

Dr B was responsible for being a lifesaver for myself and family. He was such a genuinely good person. For this minority Dr, he changed my life and I will forever grateful to him. RIP.

Dr B. was a great teacher and a kind person. I was fortunate to spend 3 years as a resident under him and will always remember him fondly.

Charlie's Dad was genuinely a good man! My earliest memories of him involve the baseball field directly in back of his Highland West home, wherein he used to come out and watch us play pickup baseball games often!

Doctor Bouzoukis was one of the Best DFES Doctors on Staff. I Loved his presentations at the Paramedic Refresher classes, however his weren't frequent enough. RIP "Doctor B" and God Bless you and your Family!
