Although it's been a very long time ago, there was a time that I saw Tom on a regular basis in and around the Gaston Courthouse. I also went to his house in Gastonia to listen to his sister's record and later sat in with the band one time on bass guitar. Tom was a guy that I thought highly of. My condolences.

To the Bowen Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Judge Bowen was one of the nicest gentlemen that I have ever met. He was very fair in the courtroom and was well respected by everyone. God bless each of you.
