Mr. Bowes taught students how to develop from young men to respectful young adults. He would always help you whenever he could. You could always ask his advice and get the right answer. He would let us joke with him and he always enjoyed the comradery with his students and players. He allowed us students to work within the fine line of being a bit unruly, but always maintained discipline with strong voice or the infamous Super Noogie, which I received several times and deserved.
