I am saddened to hear this news belatedly. I was privileged to know Jim from his Paris days in the early 90's. We taught together at Paris University and later started our training company Jurislangues. Above all I will always remember a beautiful man who, perhaps without realising it, eventually taught me much about Life. Quite an incredible and varied journey, one which no doubt carries on elsewhere.

We are extremely saddened to hear of Jim's passing, but uplifted to know about all the good he did throughout his life, much of it described in these comments.
Although Kate and I only knew him for a short while, we immediately bonded and loved his approachable, friendly and kind personality.
