Not sure what to say?

Hello! I´m not sure if Dr. Boyd´s family is still checking the guest book or not, but I wanted to share my story with him. I was born on December 17, 1974, and I believe I was one of his first deliveries at Highland. My family had moved to Marshall, TX on December 1st, and my mom needed a doctor who would administer an epidural (she was an RN and didn´t want general anesthesia). So, she found Dr. Boyd through a mutual friend, Dr. Stone, met him once, and he delivered me a few days later. She...

A Fourth Son, Brother and best Friend - Still missed by your oldest Bro, Lewis S. Robinson III

Most definitely a wonderful man of God. He touched my life in many ways and is very special to my family especially my mother Marcia. He will be missed greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with his surviving family. I love you all and Dr. Boyd thank you for the positive impact you made in my life I loved you too.

Laura, I just heard today of Jim's passing, and I wanted to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family. Jim was a wonderful person.

Laura, Baylor, and Leslie,
I am so very sorry to learn of Jim's death. It doesn't seem that long ago when we were at Centenary and LSU. Life goes by too quickly, and, it's not easy to lose someone like Jim who cared so much for others. I will keep you, Baylor, and Leslie in my prayers.

Dear Laura:
I believe it was at my Mother's funeral that I referred to Jim Boyd as a "forth son" because he was that to my Mom and Dad. A little over 30 days later, my Dad died and Jim was a tremendous help to me and my brothers in dealing with that situation. All of this was no doubt due to the fact that for many years, Jim was my Dad's right-hand man in their OB/GYN practice at Highland Clinic. He truly was a beloved member of our family.
Much love,
Lewis

Laura, my heart is breaking only because I know just how much his wonderful family will miss him. However, I know he is with our Heavenly Father. I greatly admired him and his wonderful knowledge of all things Episcopal! May God's Peace be with your entire family!
