Not sure what to say?

We hate to miss Jim's memorial service, but due to Pete's condition we were advised to avoid large groups of people. Please know that we are thinking of Jim and of you at this time.

We've only known Jim for a relatively short time, but his great sense of humor and easy going personality makes it feel like decades. We always looked forward to our annual Kauai get togethers, to learn about Jim and Carol's latest adventures, and to enjoy Jim's gourmet cuisine. We will cherish our...

Jim was my Great Uncle. I remember being at a party at my fathers house and talking with Jim and Carol Jean a few years back. They were so pleasant and I truly enjoyed catching up on what was going on in their lives. Jim had a way of making you feel special in a conversation. 60 years of marriage is a remarkable legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family today

I have known Jim since 1939, graduated from BHS in 1942, and was a member of Scout Troop 511. Bill Gates and I used to meet in Jim's house , in Bremerton, for the Scout Patrol meetings. About 2 months ago, Isent several photographs of Sun Down Lodge where our troop would spend weekends and have picnics to Jim, which he thanked me for. The last time I saw Jim was at the class reunion in 1992 in the Officer Rec center in the Navy Yard.
I will miss Jim who was of my best friends from...

When we were classmates at the UofW, Jim remembers my talking him into going to a Valentine Dance with Carol Ewart. The rest is history - 60 years of wedded bliss. He reminded me of that several times in gratitude.
