I was Jim's secretary for 10 years at US Trust Co., when he was the Assistant Comptroller and then Comptroller. He was a decent and caring man. I never heard a fowl word or curse from him. He never lost his temper. He was ALWLAYS a gentleman, loved and respected by everyone. There should be more men in the world like him.
