James F. Bratek

I went to High School with Jim's sister, Barbara. We were introduced and Jim and I were good friends for several years. My most happy memory was going to the old "Aud" to watch college basketball games with Jim, Tim Cusack, et al. It was always great to cheer on teams like Canisius, St. Bonnie's, etc. Jim was always kind and a gentleman. He came to my house and would drink gallons of coffee while we talked in my livingroom. I, too, was a classmate of James at OMGC. I thought of him as the smartest boy in our class. I knew him to be reserved and always nice to everyone. Saddened to read of his passing. Kind memories remain. My sympathy goes out to his family.
