I first met Jim in the mid 1980's, he was president of the Florence Civic and Business Association and I was new to the group. Jim made those first meetings much easier for me and we continued our friendship through the years. Soon I knew Sigrid, Kurt and Chris and that friendship continues on. Jim felt very strong about the village of Florence and supported, both directly and indirectly, many of our annual events including all our parades. i met mr brazeau at the cummington fair when my mother -in-law signed my son up to win racing pigeons (of course he won a pair). my son had him as a substitute teacher in leeds and jfk. he will be greatly missed.

He always smiled and you could tell he was happy. As Past Potentate Edgar and Anne Gelinas we spent time knowing him at Shriners for years. Nice man and great family too. Our sympathy and love to all family members.
