Not sure what to say?

I knew Jim from our days In Little League baseball in Bakersfield in the 1950’s. He was Just a great guy and fun to be around. I was surprised he ultimately became the DA for Modesto County and known for successfully prosecuting the Scott Peterson Murder Trial. RIP!!

Dear Pat: You and your family have my greatest sympathy. Jim and I were married for a while when he was working with Orange Police Department, and going to Law School. I went on to become a Police Sergeant and then retired and became a nurse. I always thought Jim would out live me. He called me in 2007, he was always very thoughtful. I will always miss him and am very sorry for your family's loss.

I was Jim's secretary in Orange County and recall him as a considerate and caring employer. So saddened to hear of his death.

I shared an office in Orange, CA with Jim for a short time in 1977/1978. We were good friends at the time. My one and only attempt at golf was with Jim. We lost contact when I moved to another state but I will always remember him with fondness.

Dearest Pat,

We are so very, very sorry to hear about Jims passing........I was wanting to get ahold of you and talk to you, so I googled James Brazelton and this was the news I received. I am so very sad! I didn't know until today. If you don't remember who we are, we use to live next door to you in Ceres. Ron, Cathy, Camellia and Megan Tipton. We live in Casa Grande, AZ now.

Please know we have always loved you very much, even though distance has pulled us apart. ...

I am so sorry to here about James. I don't recall meeting him. My mom told me that he was my Godfather. I did get a chance to talk to him on the phone. I wish I could have had a chance to meet him. I send my regards to the family.

Life is not a dress rehearsal, & as we all know, Jim got it right the first time. He was a compassionate, tenacious & a wonderful human being. His sence of humor helped keep us all sain at OPD. We will never forget his infectious personality, & he will be missed, but always remembered. Thanks for shareing your life & friendship.
We all missed you & Pat at the 10-87. We still owe you Dinner.
May God bless you & your family. Bob & Elaine Cosner.

Dearest Pat: Finding and meeting you and our cousin, Jim, about 5 years ago while researching our mutual Seitzinger ancestors for our genealogy hobby was one of the richest gifts of friendship we have ever received. In that short time, we bonded so closely that we felt that we had known you both all of our lives. We will always treasure the trip we all took to PA to honor our ancestor, a Civil War Medal of Honor recipient. Watching Jim's face reflecting such pride in our country when our...

Jim was my cousin and fellow researcher on Brazelton genealogy. We grew up together as children and he will be very sorely missed. May God bless you and the boys, Pat. It will be rough without Jim, but you can do it.
