James P. Breitung Brooksville, FLA.- James Paul Breitung, 74, of Brooksville, Fla., passed away peacefully, Saturday Oct. 10, 2015. He was born in Rockville Centre, N. Y. and lived his life in New York until retiring to Florida in 1996. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a Hospital Corpsman. He attended college at SUNY Cobleskill. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 150, Kingston, N.Y., and a member of the High Point Golf Club, Brooksville, Fla., and loved golf dearly. In life he was the President of Brown Paving Company, Kingston N.Y. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his partner in life, Ruth Cashara; daughter, Helen Breitung Combs; son-in-law, Jerry Combs; daughter, Alison Breitung; brothers, Robert Breitung and wife Juaneene, Ernest Breitung and wife Joy; and grandchildren, Addison Combs and David Breitung. A memorial service will be held 2p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at Turner Funeral Home 14360 Spring Hill Dr., Spring Hill, Fla., 34609. 352-796-9661.
