James Brewer

Jim took a picture of me in high school and it didn't look like me at all. He somehow captured my best features. He had pure talent. I hold fond memories of him.

Jim and I met in photography classes at RIT, roomed together for a while, and had many adventures there and elsewhere. A decade later, he became good friends with my wife, as well (that´s her in the picture - it's the last one I took of him). He was smart, charming, generous, kind, and always optimistic. I am saddened to hear of this. Jamie was a drum student of mine, and was as outgoing as they come. He was fun to work with. He always seemed quite happy (or, maybe just a little "off his nut") and always looking forward to what life had in store for him. He was an excellent photographer! I lost track of him over the years, and now, this. He left us too soon.

So very sad over your passing, Jim.....so many good memories of us growing up in Findlay. Rest in Peace, old friend.
