BRIDGES, Mr. James H.-age 56, of Flint, MI passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 27, 2014 with 1:30 pm family hour at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505. Calling hours are 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm Friday, September 26, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Chapel.

Mr. James H. Bridges ?PATCH? ?JB? was born March 31, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Annie Lee Bridges and Albert Holiday, Sr. James was a longtime resident of Flint, Michigan. He was self employed and enjoyed working on cars and helping people out whenever he could. James also loved to joke with people and flirt with the ladies. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as helping and providing for his children anytime they needed him He was a loving, kind-hearted man and was always willing to help anyone in their time of need.
Mr. James H. Bridges leaves to cherish his memory: children, Jamielle, James, Jamar, Jennifer, Jessica, Jasmine, Jacara, Janice and Jordan; step-daughter, Sherice; 15 grandchildren; 3 sisters; 4 brothers; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Dorothy Bridges, Tim Davis and Sharee ?Cakie? Hunter.

Mr. James H. Bridges was preceded in death by: wife, Bettie Potts; mother, Annie Lee Bridges; father, Albert Holiday, Sr.; brother, Addy ?Happy? Bridges and cousin, Willie Bridges.

The family would like to express special thanks to everyone that helped out with everything in their time of need.

My heartfelt condolence to the Bridges and Potts family. As my ex neighbor on Sterling St. I got know James pretty well. Always gave a helping hand and he loves all his kids. He was very good friend to my brother David. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends for very long time

I am sorry to here of James passing.He is gone but will never be forgotten.
