Not sure what to say?

Ingie and I had many laughs since first meeting in Art class at Grant in 1948.
We'll miss him dearly.

Jim was a wonderful man & father! he always made me laugh & feel apart of the family! He had a great way of adding humor to any situation! Much Love Robin Stringer & family

To the Briles Family: Jim was my dentist for over 30 years. We had a great time talking sports over the years. Even after he retired, and moved to central Oregon, I kept in contact with them, because I was an old Redmond Panther! I would even check in with John on occasion to see how he was doing. He was a great guy. Our prayers are with the entire family. God bless.

Dr. Briles was a wonderful man and we send our love and best wishes to Mary Ellen and the family. We started seeing Dr. Briles as our dentist nearly 41 years ago. He was such a caring and gentle person.

went to hi school with Jim, very sorry to hear of his passing.

me now 4-2011

Dr Briles was my favorite dentist. he taught me to care for my teeth. He threating to use a pair of old rusty pliers to pull a tooth that scared me! (joking) Mary Ellen/John,my parents took me to the best dentist i have ever had. I was disapointed when he retired. I am so sorry to hear he has passed away. I will not be able to attend service at forestry center.

Kathy and I were both patients when we lived in Portland some years ago now. We add our sympathies for the family and hold fond memories of Jim.

Dear Mary Ellen and family,
I was surprised and saddened to read today the Jim had died. "Inj" was one of great guts in my life and all the friends he had. I know Em will be waiting for him, as Jim was one of her fevorite people. I won't be able to attend Jim's memorial as I will be out of town, but my prayers will be for Jim and you and the family. Mary, please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of Jim. God bless you and your family and if I can be of any help please don't...

Dr Jim was my pedodontist starting at age 5 (before there was such a thing!) and continued as my dentist for the next 30+ years. I will always
remember his caring, compassion and sense of humor. In the later
years I felt like I was going to talk Ducks with my buddy instead of going
to the dentist. May knowing how much he was beloved by his patients/friends bring comfort to the family during this difficult time.
