The best teacher I ever had

One of my favorite teachers. Always had worlds finest chocolate in his desk drawers.

Cousin Jim was always such a gentle, giving soul. He was always faithfilled and interesting. What a rare person... we are all blessed to have known him.

The comments of Jim's past students are a great tribute to him and show the legacy he has left behind. What a wonderful friend he was to me from high school until the present.

A servant of the Lord in all he did. The loving way he treated his mother, the respect of, and interest in, each of his students at St. James, the kindness he showed to every person he met, the selfless gift of time to his church, can all be attributed to Jim. May his life's work be recognized in heaven.

Jim was a wonderful man. knew him for years at St. James and at God's Kitchen. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. see you on the otherside my friend.

Sorry to hear about Jim's passing. We were classmates at CC and Aquinas.

I had Mr. Brink for a teacher at St. James in 3'rd & again in 6'th grade. He was a wonderful teacher & a humble a servant of the Lord in various other ministries. Years later, when he officiated my father's graveside service, I saw the same Christlike image. RIP, Mr Brink. You've earned a seat at the front of the class!
