I was just remembering him today. I was one of his medics in the 40th CAB. I ran into him on the COVID missions and he stopped me say that he recognized that I was always there when people needed me and how he appreciated everything I do. Even today his words serve as an anchor. If anyone seemed critical of him, I would openly confront them to tell them that there was never a better man than Dr. Brinkman, and no one better to put your trust in, and I believed it. I just heard about the sad news of Jim's passing. Our prayers are with the family. It was an honor to serve with Jim in ministry at TCCS years ago. Always a gentleman!

The last text I received from Jim was on August 21, 2021 and Jim texted to me - "Focus on the Lord and His attributes" Amen
