Not sure what to say?

I was fortunate to have Mr. Bristol as my AP Math teacher 1960-1963. He was by far the best teacher I ever had... at Shaker Heights High School, Northwestern University and Kellogg. We learned not just geometry, calculus and trigonometry, but more importantly the thought process in solving problems. And he taught in a way that made the subject material easy to understand, while showing respect for each student in our class.

He had a huge influence on my life!

Me Bristol was my AP math teacher 1964-66. Had a huge impact on my education. An amazing teacher. I think of him often and just came across this opportunity to express my thanks. January 2018

I am one of Mr. Bristol's former math students. He truely enjoyed teaching and was a blessing to anyone who stepped into his classroom.

My uncle lives on in some of my best memories.Lifes lessons taught by Uncle Jim and Aunt Mur continue to serve me well.I pray for my Aunt Mur and cousin Barry to find GOD'S good in this time of sorrow. Love Bud

We were deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. We've thought of the family so many times since September 11th and would like to share your thoughts of the events.

We are leaving for San Diego and will not be able to attend the memorial services. We will call on our return.

Jim was a great man, as is his wife. The family has our sympathy and prayers

I knew Jim when he was teaching at
Shaker Heights. I also worked with
him on the Cleveland Council of
Teachers of Mathematics. He was
really a great teacher.
