Not sure what to say?

We are truly sad to hear of Mr. Brockman's passing. He was a truly wonderful man and is part of the great memories we had living in Spartanburg. He invited us many times to go out to his farm and pick blueberries, which we have some pictures of. He was always so kind and full of encouragement. the world has lost a very wonderful man, but his influence will continue for a long time.

Dear Libba:
Your Dad was one of the best people I ever knew. I remember one time Terri Dillard and I went to get him to identify a bug we found, and he dropped what he was doing to come look at the biggest ugliest beetle I've ever seen. I know he was busy but he took the time to pacify two little curious girls. I will forever miss him. Robyne Moss Wellborn

Libba,

My sister Connie told me about your father's death. Our mother, Martha Dominick, thought so very highly of your parents, especially your dad for his leadership at Jenkins. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Brockman's science class in 1958 was a big influence on my life and career as an engineer. I spoke with him from time to time and visited him at his home. He was a friend. As a teacher, my mother worked with him at Houston Elementary and thought a great deal of him. He was everything I think a Christian should be. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Libba:
Emily and I were very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We will be thinking of you and send you our condolences for your loss.

so very sorry for the loss of your Father, He was truly a great man ... He will be forever in my heart for all that he instilled in me at Jenkins ..... I am sure that he will be gratly missed.

Libba, it saddened me to learn of your dad's death. He was a great inspiration to me while being a member at Calvary Church some years ago. I shall always remember his kind and gentle spirit. I pray GOD will give you his comfort during this difficult time. Love, Earlene Tarleton

I am Steve Cromer's wife, Donna. Yesterday, Steve was telling me about Mr. Brockman's passing. We were both very sorry for his family's loss. Steve went on to say that his dad, C. E. Cromer, was the most honest man he ever knew and that Mr. Brockman ranked up there with his father. Steve said you know people as a child and then when you grow up, you really "know" them - and his opinion of Mr. Brockman stayed. Steve always had the utmost respect for Mr. Brockman. I can tell you from my...
