James Woodall "Owl" Brodtmann

The Owl was my roommate while we both were at LSU in the late Sixties. We lived at the High Point Apts at 3000 July Street, in Unit 101, in Baton Rouge. It was a good time in both our lives.
In recent years we had been in periodic touch, gabbing mostly about LSU football. I had emailed him something of no particular importance in December of 2019, and wondered why he had not replied. He usually did.
And then I emailed him again last night, on Jan. 13, about the LSU-Clemson...

I wish I had been able to actually know him. He was always very thoughtful and nice to me. I will miss his emails.
