Not sure what to say?

If I were asked to say a few words aboth "the Broph", I couldn't do it... Not a few words!

The most remarkable thing about my 30 year relationship with him is that I can't recall ever entertaining a angry thought about him. I can't even say that about my mother!

The replacement of his infectious personality will be impossible: Cinco de Mayo will never be the same, nor Christmas, and, especially, and above all, his birhtday.

Keep a seat warm Jimmy, we'll all be...

My sincerest wishes for peace in this time of sorrow.. Mr Brophy always made me smile and his sense of humor was one of kind. He was my brother's coach, my boyfriend's neighbor , my classmate's (Jim Jr.) father and a true character to love, respect and remember.Godspeed. I am very sorry for your loss.

I've got some wonderful memories of the Senor'.As his roommate for around 4 years we had some great times at the Hacienda. The Sunday morning brunches, the 4th of July parties when it always rained, and the great camaraderie we had.I loved the Senor like a brother and I have truly lost one of my best friends. My heart goes out to Linda,Jim Jr,Colleen, and the rest of the family.I will miss him greatly.
P.S.For Linda-I am the last of Dirk,Biff, and Bunky and I can't remember which one I was.

I just wanted to take a moment and pass my condolences to Jim Jr. and Colleen. I never had the pleasure of knowing the rest of Jim Sr.'s family. As a highschool friend of Jim Jr.'s, we spent a great deal of time just hanging out at the Brophy house. Both parents always made us feel so welcomed and it was always like it was our own home. My deepest and sincere condolences go out to all of you that were part of Jim Sr.'s life.

Mr. Brophy went far out of his way to offer me support when my step-father died. I was a schoolmate of Jim, Jr., a teenager, and trying to figure out which way was up. I recall vividly seeing Mr. Brophy standing at the the graveside service in Starrsville, Georgia (not a convenient drive from Sandy Springs). It was not something he had to do and it has always struck me as an excellent example of how an adult can reach back and offer a helping hand. I can also remember a couple of really...

I just wanted to let Linda and the family know that y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Brophy was a constant and life-long friend of my dad's (Bigger). I have grown up listening to stories of the trouble the two of them got into...I know my dad and many others will truly miss friendship and his contagious laugh!

My sincere condolences to Jim's family and friends. Jim will be missed...a great guy.

In this time of sadness, we extend our thoughts and deepest heartfelt sympathy to Jim's family. A great friend of over 25 years, Jim will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. His contagious smile and laugh, his passion for people and life will always be remembered. May God bless.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss. Your family is in my prayers.

May God bless you,

Michael Stuart
