Jimmy was my second cousin, but being older than we were we didnt know him well. We knew his sister Karen and my brother, Steve and I loved to play with her as children. I am proud to be one of the McClure clan, too.

Mr. Brophy was my drivers ed. teacher in 1970 and was one of the kindest teachers that I had at GBHS. He was always patient, relaxed, fun, and made us feel confident and capable. Thank you, sir, for your skills and for the care that you gave us.

When I taught at GBS, I was working on my Master's degree at MSU in diagnosing/remediation of reading difficulties and Jim took after school time to answer tons of questions regarding a huge project that my program required. He was a kind and thoughtful person whose expertise I respected.
