Sandy, Virginia, Shauna, Jim & Mark Bryant, 1975. Christopher Family Prayer Garden, Overland Baptist Church, St. Louis.

Dear family of Pastor Bryant, some of my earliest memories are of Pastor Bryant and I am so grateful for having had the blessing of his presence in my life. He was a steadfast good friend to my family for as long as I can remember, truly a Godly example of the Christian faith, and possessed of a beautiful voice, which he used to glorify God. My prayers are for you as you let him go into the welcoming arms of his Savior. Love, Susie Jackson

Some of our best memories include the music programs Linda´s dad Jack presented at the Senior Center in Harrison, featuring Jim singing old gospel songs and his beloved Hank...

Dear family of Jim Bryant, and especially Shauna, Sandy, and Mark, you are much in my prayers. Jim Bryant was a beloved friend to my husband and me, and a great servant of our dear Lord. Jim blessed our lives with his warm friendship, his irrepressible sense of humor, and his buoyant, confident faith. He translated that faith into enthusiastic action. Wherever Jim was, there was a sweet, sweet spirit in that place. I will always remember him with thanksgiving to God. May the memories he...

I can hardly remember a time before Jim and Virginia were respected and cherished friends of my parents. Their kind, gentle ways always made me feel at home with them, as a child. And as an adult I admired their ability to bring compassion and that same gentle energy to all kinds of challenging situations with people in need of loving attention. Light perpetual shine upon them!
