James H. Bryant

I knew Jimmy and worked with him when I was a dancer at the Lido in Paris. We would often go out to eat after rehearsals. He was friends with my close friend Maurice Bouchon, the drummer at the Lido. Jimmy was gentle and kind, a real gentleman. He had an amazing voice and I loved to hear him rehearse. I was glad to learn he had had a long and successful life x

My condolences Mr Bryant seemed like a very cool person. I am a stranger but have been very affected by his beautiful voice as well as Marni Nixons voice since I was about 10 years old when I first listened to the album West Side Story. I am now 53. Also my mama passed last Oct 2022. We lost alot of greats last year. I'm still singing and hearing him and Marnis vocals often in my day.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends. I've only just read today (Oct 7th 2022) that Mr. Bryant has passed away last June. I'm just a stranger, not even from the USA, but ever since I was very young, after watching the movie West Side Story, Mr. Bryant's voice has touched me like no other. I feel heartbroken to know he's no longer among us. Sadly only one picture can be found online of how he looks. After reading the obituary, I feel he must have been a wonderful person....

Sending deepest condolences to the family. Jimmy was a wonderful neighbor for so many years. I shall forever treasure my memories of him and the kindness he showed me. RIP Jimmy, I know the angel choir is sounding even sweeter now you have joined them.

Jimmy was like the father I never had.
