Our condolences to the family, colleagues, and staff. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Dr. Buell,
My prayer is that you find comfort and peace during this time. He was a doctor that demanded excellence and never settle for less. He will be missed. God Bless

To the family of Jim (especially Janet):
Sorry for the loss of your brother. Worked with your dad @ Mutual of Omaha. Lost contact. My prayers to all.

I met Dr. James Buell ever since he moved to San Antonio. He was a Fine Doctor and he will be missed in the medical community. May God be with you in this time of sorrow; you will be in our prayers.

It was our pleasure to know Jim when he visited his children. It was great to talk with him and discuss family and his medical endeavors. He was a mild man but thoroughly interesting. May the Lord bless his family with the memories he left.

My condolences to the Buell family.

We wish wish you the most heartfelt sympathies. Dr. Buell was like one of the family as he treated us over the past 20 years. He was the perfect blend of knowledge and professionalism with a great wit and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. I suspect it is rare that patients would feel such a personal loss for their doctor ... but he was very special.

I had the benefit of working with Dr. Buell. Always had something to teach me about the cardiology world. His knowledge was a blessing to me and everyone else who worked with him. He will be missed.

Jim was a friend of mine throughout grade school and during his undergraduate years. He was a good man and I extend my thoughts and prayers to his family.
