Not sure what to say?

Dear Shannon and family,

Words can't describe how devastating and unexpected the news of Jim's passing was to me. I just leaned that my favorite Tennis doubles partner passed away. He was a joy to team up with; always positive, supportive, vibrant and a great player.

We all share the sorrow of his loss. Jim's memories will always stay with us and in our hearts.

Are sincere thoughts are with you and your family.

With tremendous sadness,

Nader Sabahi

Dear Family,

I very saddened to hear of James' passing today. I was lucky enough to play many sets of tennis with him and against him at West Hills Tennis Club. His smile, sense of humor, and competitive spirit was infectious and will be greatly missed. I loved playing tennis with him. In between sets of tennis he would talk about his girls. You could tell he loved them very much.
He was a great guy, and we will all miss him. Our thoughts go out to you.

Dear James' Family and Friends:

I had only known James for over a year and...

EULOGY FOR MY BROTHER JAMES

Born May 20, 1964
Died April 4, 2007

Hello everyone. I am Barbara, James’s sister. I wish to thank all of you who came here to join us in sorrow for the loss of a wonderful young man, and in celebration of his life and what he gave to us.

My brother, James Milton Burke, was born the seventh of nine children. It was May 20, 1964, fifteen months after I was born. My mother once confided in me that when she discovered she was...

Dear Shannon, Taylor & Conor,

Jamie was special to so many at Notre Dame. John Huebl, Scott Cade, Dave Stang, Bill Rossiter and John Adams add their condolences to those shared with you by Gerry Bradley and Paul Smith.

We love you and admire the strength of the Burke and O'Neill families as they took care of you these past very traumatic days.

Please remember to create a "Daddy packet" for Conor and Taylor that they can flip through any time for the rest of their...

Dear Shannon and all the Burke family,
My deepest sympathy, love and prayers. I smile through my tears when I picture Jamie. He had such a smile. I loved "Chief" as his dad called him. I still remember that beautiful two year old who loved his fire truck and his firefighter's hat.
When I babysat one time on Parkwood in Kalamazoo, he would do anything I asked if I reminded him that it was time for the fireman to get his pajamas on or eat dinner. He sat in the bathtub telling me...
