Not sure what to say?

May he continue to rest in peace. Love and peace, Mary F Rinaldi

Even after all of these years James's name still comes up around us veterans at Bankers Life. He was a true leader in our office. He was also a good friend. Thinking of his family today, especially his son. Hope you are well.

It is still hard to believe that our beautiful, talented young cousin was taken from his family at such a young age and in his prime. Mary Lou and Jim and all his family have our very best thoughts & prayers on this day. He is in our hearts. Love Kitty & Warren

Sadness remains

To the Burne family, I only met Jim a couple of times because the DeStefano family moved to the Baltimore County area in Pennsylvania when I was in third grade. I remember visiting Jim's apartment in one of Grandpa Fatt's apartment buildings in downtown Scranton. Also remembering the five Fatt sisters and all the grandkids that I used to play...

Thinking of my cousin and the great loss to the entire family in this wonderful man. My love to all his family. Kitty & Warren too

I remember him in training class back 11/15. Then around the office. Then next to me in Oct 2016 talking about his son and grateful dead band. Now I have his photo at my desk and I ask God to tell him hello for me. My faith says there is eternity after this life. You are so handsome and this office is empty without you. My boss Frank's heart is broken. He loved you. See you in Heaven someday , James.

Another post: I just came across a picture Mary Lou had sent a few years back of the whole family and there Jim was as handsome as ever and I admired the beauty of this family all over again. It is so sad that our family has lost such a gorgeous, clearly caring and dear person who was your dear son, brother, father. My deepest condolences again. Love Cousin Kitty

Dear Burne family, I was just reading the Univ of Scranton journal and saw the bad news. I was unaware of Jim's passing til now. He was a good guys and I am grateful for knowing him. I send you all my best regards.
