Dr. and Mrs. Burnett were friends of my parents before I was born. They were wonderful people, and memories of them and all the Burnetts, especially Gail, are a huge part of my life. There were the beach trips our families took together, parties when our parents and the rest of their gang would sit around and talk while the huge bunch of children ran around like crazy.
