Not sure what to say?

Liam - I often thought about you and your dad. I hope you are doing well. I´m sure your dad would be so proud of you.

I was just thinking of Jim last week. He came to mind as I was talking with another liver recipient. I am reminded of Jim often; I thought he was so bright and took the time to understand each side of a situation. He was kind in every way and an exceptional human being. He was a treasure and is remembered by many.

Margaret,

I met Jim back in 10th grade, when Jim was a senior at Westlake High School. There was a small group of us that would run at the beginning of the season to get into shape. Even though I was the only sophomore, Jim accepted me immediately. On many occasions Jim would drive me home, even though I lived out of the way. He was always encouraging and teaching…I considered him a mentor, who had great knowledge of the game, and also great competitiveness spirit!

Tom Behra and I first met Jim when Tom was photographer for Team Ohio. We were impressed with his basketball playing and found him to be really good friend. Always a big smile and made you feel welcome at any activity. He will be missed. Sincere condolences to his wonderful family.

To Margaret, Liam, and the rest of the families, I am a cousin, so to speak, and my daughter Victoria and I would just like to express our condolences. Jim was always fun to be around, since we were little and up to the time near when I moved from Cleveland. He was kind enough to help my siblings with my Mother's care legalities, and if she could, Mom, Cornell Yarish, would be so sad to know of his passing, if she did not have dementia. She always just loved Jim. He was a good man, and our...

I graduated with Jim from Westlake High School in 1976, he was an outstanding basketball player but an even better person. I am saddened to hear of his passing and proud to have known him.

I met Jim when he was playing basketball at the College of Wooster. He became a friend of our whole family for many years. He was always there for all our special occasions and our times of pain.
I am so sorry for your loss Margaret and Liam.
Jim will be missed by so many people he has touched.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jim through basketball and softball, and from the beginning, you knew Jim was convicted in ALL that he did. And while we lost touch in recent years, it was a pleasure to see him whenever our paths crossed. God bless his family and frinds through this difficult time

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jim. He was such a dear friend to my family.Jim had a very kind and gentle soul, one you don't find very often. I will never forget or be able to repay him for how he affected my life at a very difficult time. Thanks for being a unconditional friend! God must have some important things for you to do. Thank you for blessing the Maley family.
