Not sure what to say?

Oh m y sweet friend...I didn't know. I will look for you in heaven

I was a shipmate of Jim´s on the USS Iowa and am very sad to hear of his death!! We were always joking around and having a great time with each other.. When it came to counting on another person Jim stood tall and could always be counted on..... Old School always with a smile!!! God Bless.....

So sorry to have heard of Jim's passing. We were shipmates on the USS Iowa. He was a good shipmate and a great Engineer.

I met Jim at Plymouth-Carver High School, Plymouth MA where we graduated in 1966. The next year we car-pooled each day to college. We reconnected recently on Facebook, recalling all those rides to the Cape. He was one of those truly nice guys and could always make me laugh! My deepest sympathy to his family. Rest in peace Jim. Jean Furtado Sarnelli

I worked with Jim for 5 years at HealthSouth . He was a big teddy bear.He was an honest man God loving man. I remember the day he saw a homeless man outside without a jacket and it was freezing outside and Jim walked up to the man and took his off and give it to him. That was the kind of man Jim was.You will be truly missed my friend. Till we meet again

I worked Jim for many years. One of my favorite people ever. God Bless.

Jim was a great guy, a hard worker and had an awesome sense of humor. You are all in my prayers

I send my deepest condolences to the family of Mr Burns. May you find comfort in knowing God loves you and will help you through this difficult time.

Jim, you blessed me so many times! Our times shared on Faith Alive weekends, Cursillo weekends, Diocesan Ultreyas, Men's Conferences... in prayer together... you inspired me and SO many others! THANK YOU! Charlotte and family, you know he surely fought the good fight and ran the race long and hard. A faithful follower of, and leader to, Jesus. You KNOW hugs are coming as are the tears of sorrow and of joy. PLEASE know that you are loved. Jim will be missed but surely not...
