Not sure what to say?

NEVER MET JAMES BUT I AM JOHN MICHAEL BURTOFT AND HAVE TRACED OUR ROOTS TO A VIKING HAMLET
ESTABLISHED IN 810AD .. THE HAMLET OF BURTOFT STILL EXISTS AND ALL BURTOFT'S CAN TRACE THEIR HERITAGE BACK TO THAT HAMLET. THE SUR NAME NEVER CHANGED SPELLING THROUGH THE CENTURIES... THE FOUNDING FATHER WAS A VIKING CLAN LEADER NAMED ALEFGAR...

I have never met James Burtoft, But he is a member of a remarkable Family. The Burtoft's originated in 810AD. The original Viking Hamlet of "Burtoft" was founded in 810AD and is still there. All "Burtoft's" were descendants of that original group. I wish James's Family all the best in the New Year and my condolences on his passing.

Jim was a great man. Truly respect worthy. He was Godly, kind, generous, compassionate and loving.
We loved him and we will miss his smile.

We are so sorry for your loss.We always enjoyed walking with Jim at the LIC and we will miss seeing him at church. He always had a smile for us.

Remembering of our childhood together and the fun times we had,I will miss you and love you dearly my brother Jim

Mr. Burtoft was my father's boss. He and his wife was so very kind to my family. I remember visiting their home as a child. Mr. Burtoft came to my mother's grave service last April when she passed away. He was still self sufficient, drove himself to the cemetary. How blessed his family was to have had him so long. A dear, kind man. Trauda Gilbert, daughter of Gustav and Linda Kelm

Jim and John, Dutch and Anne Romine along with Virgil Ankeny family, we are very sorry to hear about your father's passing. Mr. Burtoft was a good, kind man and lived a long wonderful life. We all have memories of the First Brethern Church in Ellet.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this time.
