Minnie: Kenneth Sparks called and told me how very nice the funeral and tribute to James was. James was a fine man. The visits that you and James made to see Wayne in that difficult period of our lives really meant a lot to us. It's a long drive from Dallas to Canadian and you two made that trip several times. God bless you and all of your family. The Kaufman "class of 55" is a wonderful group of people. You and I were lucky to be married to two of their group.

We are so sorry to hear of your great loss. Jim was such a nice man with a great sense of humor. You could easily tell how much Jim loved his family. We shared a love of sports with Jim and always enjoyed running into him at the Baptist church downtown. Jim will be missed by so many.

Minnie, Steve and I are sad to see such a great man leave this earth for a better place. I know that you and Jim shared something very special that can never be forgotten or taken by anyone. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Minnie, I'm glad I had a chance to meet Jim. I pray that all the sweet moments you two shared help you through this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Minnie, What a special man James was. You have been such a strong, faithful caregiver through all of this and we will hold you up as an example as we will all someday have to experience this. We love you and want you to know how special you are to each of the KHS Class of 1955 members. You are one of us! May God hold you up as you go into the next phase of your life.
