Jim Button was a good man and a very good Special Agent at U.S. Customs, DEA, GSA/OIG and in many locations along the Southwest Border, New Orleans, Chicago, Seattle and beyond. I will miss him. Vaya con Dios Amigo!

When we first moved next door to Jim and Marty, we stopped by to introduced ourselves. They were so welcoming and within the week or so they stopped by with the famous pitcher of margaritas. For the past 10 years he would stop by our house or I would stop in at his and we would have coffee, and shoot the breeze. He was always there to help us out, weather it was taking care of our fur babies while we were gone or trekking behind us to drop off our vehicle to get services. His smile was...

Like Marty used to say...Jim never met a stranger and when Jimmy bought the house two doors down, it was an instant friendship that evolved into a precious bond. After Jimmy passed in 2021, Jim made sure to stay in contact with me and I with him. Jim was a very special person indeed. His presence and wisdom will be missed. I am grateful to have known you my friend...until we meet again.
