Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Jim's passing. I have very special memories of him and your family from our time in Winter Garden. What a very special man!

Joyce- I haven't seen you in many years, but wanted to extend my sympathy in Jim's death. In reading his obit, it is clear that he was a
"winner" who made a difference everywhere he went. I recall his
calling signals as the Butler H.S. quarterback. He may have known
my first cousin, Bill Colburn ( a different name from mine) who is
retired as a horticulturist and lives in Windermere during winters.
Bill went to Auburn and graduated about 1955.

I am so sorry to hear about this. And I thank Frances O for keeping me posted. Curtis Adams and I were the first "boy" cheer leaders at Butler. I graduated in '53. May God bless and comfort you.

I pray God's Blessings upon the entire Buttram family - those first years of Butler High have not, nor will they be equaled - Jim was one of it's brightest stars.

I would like to extend my sympathy to the family.Jim was a good friend with my brother Ken Dugan in high school.I enjoyed seeing Jim go into the Huntsville Madison County Athlete Hall Of Fame.

As a former classmate at Butler High, I give my heart felt sympathy to the Buttrum family. Jim, was an outstanding athlete, student and great friend, He will be missed.

I sincerely extend my sympathies for your loss. I graduated from Butler High School in 1954 and remember Jimmy as a great football player for the Butler Rebels. I remember him as a favorite in his class as well as in football.
