I just happened to find this obit...so sad to hear he passed so young! Sgt Buzz and I were in vietnam together running conveys! Great guy!..so much energy! I took this pic of him with Sgt Gallant. The day Buzz was going home..My condolences to the family..

OH MY GOSH. I still have your letters and card when we were both stationed in Vietnam. It breaks my heart to know that you are gone too soon. To your family, my sincerest condolences. What a great guy he was. I am sure you are very proud, as you should be. Linda Lesser White an old,old friend.

I didn't know Jim that well, but I could tell that he had great love for his wife and children. Whenever I would visit with them, he would brag about Jim and Heather, and Chris.
I remember whenever Jim was with Jimmy, his face always seemed a little brighter, his smile wider, and his mood, happier.
Whenever I think of Jim Jr, I always seem to focus on scenes with his Father, with the two of them laughing, and feeling the love between them.

Mom you remember all the love and memories that Uncle Jim and you shared. The two of you had a special relationship that all syblings wish they had. Everyone who knew Uncle knew that he loved his big sis. The two of you were always sitting next to each other talking and laughing at every party and even Sunday macaroni dinners. Words cannot express the hole this family is feeling right now. We have lost a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and a uncle (more a 2nd father). I will miss you Uncle Jim more than I can express and all your stories. I'll miss watching westerns with you and eating great food. I love you and I will see you again and waiting for more of your stories.

As Brothers in law go, I could not have had a better one. Never in his short life did I ever have to be concerned about my sister, and their two beautiful children. Having grown up as the only boy in my family, Jim provided that “big brother” experience that I would not been able to have if it weren’t for him.
