Not sure what to say?

Jim was one of the very first people I met at Adelphi. I was a freshman, and he was a senior, and we were both in M. Boon's French class. He sat right behind me. I served with him as a trustee at Adelphi for almost two decades. Carolyn and I served the Adelphi Alumni Association in a variety of capacities. Jim was one of a kind -- smart, ethical, dedicated, a gentleman and a gentle man. I was privileged to consider him a friend (and, I hope, be considered by him as a friend) for more than 50...

Even though it has been years since we last spoke, I still always considered Jimmy and Carole friends.Jimmy, Carole Barbara and I went to college together. He and Carole were the golden couple--leaders of the class and in the truest sense they personified class. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jim was a classmate at St. Mary Gate of Heaven school. A young man I was always fond of, then he worked with my Dad at Bankers Trust for many years.
You have transitioned to a New World, fly high my friend.

Jim was the first person I worked with at Bankers Trust (how lucky I was) and someone I will never forget for all he did for me and others. A true gentleman and scholar who will be missed so very much!!

Now cracks a noble heart. Good night sweet prince:
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!

Jim was a mentor and a friend. He was always available to share his wisdom and vision. We knew each other originally through Bankers Trust and I was always amazed that he took his valuable time to guide me - I so enjoyed our lunches together. My deepest sympathy for Carolyn and his family. A candle has truly gone out in the world.
