I will always remember the times when Martha would drop Buddy and myself off at the John Day bridge for a day fishing. We were around 12-13 years old and we'd take sack lunches and spend all day on the creek. This was before cell phones and we'd meet Martha back at the bridge before dark to be picked up. Just one of many of the wonderful memories I shared with Buddy.
