Not sure what to say?

For sure this priest is in Heaven. He was a great professor who made his stress/ distressed students feel good. He had a way with soothing people with his kind words. He had a beautiful sense of humor, and always had the healthy attitude that reminded everyone we were here on Earth only for a while. Too bad many students missed out on him because of his passing. Me encomiendo a sus oraciones e intercesión.

you reached me at Seton Hall with your funny stories and your ability to connect to people.I was truly enlightened taking your course that was a requirement for graduation and turned out to be one of my favorites!

I remember Father Jim from my time at Our Lady of the Valley High School. He used to sing his favorite Puccini arias in the stairwells between classes. He had a great, loving heart, and his influence on me has been life long. I knew him fifty years ago, but I've always been grateful for his help during a dark time in my life.

We are deeply saddened about the loss of Msgr. Cafone. He was an outstanding priest.

I was so sorry to read of the passing of Msgr. Cafone. May he rest in Peace! My aunt, Ruth Hill lived in Ivy Hill in the '80's and loved to attend Mass at the Chapel. She befriended many seminarians and truly loved the Msgr. for his great down to earth spirituality and humor. Ruth painted many of the buildings on the SHU campus and especially the Chapel. Msgr. Cafone contacted me a few years before her death and asked me to bring Ruth to his office. He had framed about ten of her paintings...

AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF THE BEST IN ORDAINED MINISTRY.
RIP, KIND SOUL

We will always miss you, Fr. Cafone. What a blessing to have known you. You will be in the hearts of your "groupies" forever! Our deepest sympathy to all of your family and loved ones ... what a hole will be left in their lives.
