Not sure what to say?

We were just talking about the teachers in our lives. Mr Caldwell was first in my memories. He taught and guided me at Woodward HS. I respected him more than any teacher I ever had. I've thought of him often. Thank you for all you did for me. Rest In Peace.

To the Caldwell Family: I am so grateful to have known and worked with Mr. Caldwell. I continue to think about the work he did for our community and the lives he touched. Rest In Peace, Jim. We miss you and your leadership! Billie Johnson.

To Mrs. Caldwell, family and friends,

May God bless you as you continue to cherish his memory and celebrate Mr. Caldwell's legacy. I am the first 50 Men and Women of Toledo scholarship recipient and grew up "out Stickney". The impact on my life from this opportunity has been incredible. THANK YOU Mr. Caldwell for seeing in me then what I have and will become.

With Condolences and in Prayer,
Dr. Sandra Glover-Strothers
1984 50 Men & Women of Toledo, Inc. Scholarship...

To Ms. Caldwell,

My thoughts and prayers are always with you but even more during this time of grieving. Although I never knew your father you obviously represent a powerful legacy...thank you for ALL you do.

Mr. Caldwell took me under his wing at
Woodward in the 60's when I was being bullied by some boys. He was always fair with us and firm, yet understanding. Even years later when I saw him he remembered me. My sympathy extends to his family...he was truly a great man.
